Results

Expected results:   Internationally recognized high quality training and research focused on humanitarian organisations’ current and future challenges.

Results from previous phases:

Switzerland has supported the CERAH since its inception in 2008, and has beforehand supported its predecessors, the Programme interdisciplinaire en Action Humanitaire (PIAH) and the PPAH (Programme Plurifacultaire Action Humanitaire). In that time, the center has become a well-established educational provider in the humanitarian sector, offering eight post-graudate degrees, distance learning course, Summer School, thematic short courses and several seminars.

It is well placed within a strong net of strategic partnerships and has become an important organizer of public conferences and seminars on humanitarian issues.
