Migration Network Activities***
The SDC Migration network provides the platform to share knowledge and experience on programmes, efforts and global developments in the field of migration and development at operational and policy dialogue level. It constitutes the framework to support activities contributing to the different network components, hence contributing to increase sharing of knowledge and enhanced connections among stakeholders.

Background |
The increased relevance and recognition of migration in the development context requires adequate means for appropriate knowledge management. The complexity of the issue requires an integrated approach and a continued strong collaboration, in particular with other thematic networks, the global programs as well as field offices and key strategic partners. |

Expected results: Results from previous phases: During the previous phase, the network orientation was established, newsletters issues and network and learning events held. Major lessons learned include the need to have a comprehensive catering for all aspects of the network, including the backstopping for the Shareweb Internet platform and the newsletter. |
