Contexto | Due to geographic, political, economic and social factors, Afghanistan is among the most vulnerable countries in the world to the impacts of climate change. The country is severely affected by rising temperatures and unseasonal precipitation impacting agricultural productivity, food security and livelihoods, especially of the poorest households. The degradation of natural resources rises conflicts within and between communities. Further, communities and stakeholders interact very little on the importance of longer-term development cooperation for climate change adaptation. |
