Conferral of an ambassador title

The Federal Council has decided to confer an ambassador title within the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs.

Pietro Mona, currently deputy head of the Global Programme Migration and Development Division of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation in Bern, has been given the title of ambassador for the exercise of his new function in Bern as ambassador for development, forced displacement and migration.
