NATO: Partnership for Peace
The North Atlantic Treaty organization is a military and political alliance between 30 European and North American states. The North Atlantic Treaty organization works together with partner countries in order to collectively promote security. Switzerland cooperates with the organization as part of the Partnership for Peace and the Euro-Atlantic Partnership Council. In so doing, Switzerland is also able to bring its security and foreign policy concerns to the table.
