The Equal Opportunities Section advises the senior management of the FDFA and the directorates on equal opportunities in the workplace. It ensures a coherent approach to promoting equal opportunities, diversity and inclusion across the FDFA.
The work of the Equal Opportunities Section is based on the directives of the Federal Council on the implementation of equal opportunities for women and men and on multilingualism in the Federal Administration, as well as on the guidelines of the Federal Council on the employment and integration of people with disabilities in the Federal Administration and the FDFA directives on protection against sexual harassment in the workplace.
The Equal Opportunities Section is part of the FDFA General Secretariat. It is responsible for the overall coordination of implementing, monitoring and reviewing the objectives of the 2028 action plan on equal opportunities in the workplace. It is also the point of contact for all FDFA organisational units and supports them in the relevant processes.
