The President of the Swiss Confederation, Mr Didier Burkhalter, is making his first appearance in Vienna as Chairperson-in-Office of the OSCE before its Permanent Council. Switzerland has set its Chairmanship under the leitmotif of “Creating a Security Community for the Benefit of Everyone“.
The ambassadors of the OSCE’s 57 participating States have a seat in the Permanent Council.
