OSCE Task Force

The OSCE deals with issues of common regional security and has a comprehensive understanding of security.

Switzerland has had a permanent delegation to the OSCE in Vienna since 1993.

Within the framework of the politico-military dimension, the OSCE endeavours to enhance military security through greater openness, transparency and cooperation.

For the OSCE, economic prosperity and environmental issues are cornerstones and key factors for stability and security.

In the human dimension, the OSCE is committed to protecting human rights and fundamental freedoms in order to prevent conflicts and secure peace.

Switzerland chaired the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) in 2014.
