Water Integrity Network : core contribution and country-programs

Projet terminé

Addressing integrity shortcomings and corruption in the water sector, this proposal will contribute to tackle a major challenge for meeting the United Nations’ Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). Discontinuity and poor quality of water services are to a great extent due to a lack of good governance. The Water Integrity Network is the lead organization addressing the issue of corruption in the water sector, at global and national level. With the addition of the country-programmes component in this second phase, this support aims to facilitate the constitution and empowerment of multi-stakeholders (international, regional, national and local; public and civil society sectors) coalitions for water integrity in at least 3 countries where Swiss development organisations are active.
