Tomorrow, President Eveline Widmer-Schlumpf, Head of the Federal Department of Finance (FDF), will be on an official working visit to Luxembourg. She will meet Prime Minister Jean-Claude Juncker and Finance Minister Luc Frieden.

The meeting with Prime Minister Jean-Claude Juncker will be devoted to a discussion on bilateral relations, European policy and the debt crisis in the euro area. President Eveline Widmer-Schlumpf will discuss the bilateral approach as well as Switzerland's proposals for the EU concerning institutional issues. The Head of the FDF will discuss various financial centre and tax issues with Finance Minister Luc Frieden. The matters addressed will include financial market regulation, the dialogue with the EU on business taxation, the savings tax agreement with the EU and the implementation of FATCA. To conclude her working visit to Luxembourg, President Eveline Widmer-Schlumpf will also meet the President of the Chamber of Deputies, Laurent Mosar.
